Veriacity Terms of Service
Last updated: August 17, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Veriacity ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Standard User account. Agency accounts must be operated by a person legally authorized to represent the agency or institution.
3. Account Types
- Standard User — an individual seeking identity verification and a portable payment history.
- Individual Agency — a sole-proprietor lending representative.
- Institutional Agency — a registered lending institution and its designated representative.
4. Verification
Accounts are not fully verified until
(a) required identifying documents have been submitted,
(b) any applicable verification fee has been paid, and
(c) Veriacity has reviewed and approved the account.
Veriacity may deny or revoke verification at its discretion, including for suspected fraud or false information.
5. Fees
- All Users pay a one-time verification fee, described on the Pricing page. This fee is non-refundable once verification review has begun, except where verification cannot be completed due to Veriacity's own error.
- Agencies pay a recurring subscription fee, billed annually, as described on the Pricing page. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; fees already paid are non-refundable.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Provide false, forged, or another person's identifying information.
- Attempt to access, scrape, bulk-export, or systematically copy records beyond normal use of the Platform's intended features.
- Screenshot, download, print, or otherwise reproduce another person's verified records except as strictly necessary for a legitimate lending decision you are a party to.
- Share your account credentials or grant Platform access to anyone not authorized under your account.
- Use the Platform to harass, discriminate against, or retaliate against any Standard User based on their rating or history.
7. Loan Records and Ratings
Veriacity provides infrastructure for agencies to record and track loans they issue; Veriacity is not a lender and is not a party to any loan agreement between an agency and a Standard User. Ratings are calculated automatically from payment timeliness data agencies themselves enter, and Veriacity does not guarantee their accuracy beyond the data supplied.
8. Monitoring and Audit Logs
Veriacity logs access to Standard User records by agencies, including who viewed a record and when, for security, dispute-resolution, and abuse-prevention purposes. By using the Platform, you consent to this logging.
9. Termination
Veriacity may suspend or terminate any account for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or misuse of another user's data, with or without notice where warranted by the severity of the conduct.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is." Veriacity does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, the accuracy of any rating, or the outcome of any lending decision made using Platform data.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Veriacity's liability arising from use of the Platform is limited to the fees paid by the affected user in the twelve months preceding the claim.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Liberia.
13. Changes to These Terms
Veriacity may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
